Testimonials

We work with the best.

The best data partners I've worked with. I consider myself fairly strong with data, but the insights they delivered were truly next level, uncovering patterns we simply hadn't seen before.

Dr. Jac Davis

Profile photo of Dr. Jac Davis

Dr. Jac Davis has an extensive record of highly-cited peer-reviewed research supported by a PhD from Cambridge University, along with a portfolio of commercially applied models. Her research delves into who we are as humans, and she has been to the farthest reaches of the planet to gather the data to support her hypothesis that human intuition is a super power of our species.

Jac specialises in converting real world phenomena into mathematical models that can be easily understood and used in commercial and academic applications. This passion has led her to become highly cited for papers in journals focusing on a diverse range of topics including research synthesis, ecology, biology, psychology and criminology.

Dr. Jegar Pitchforth

Profile photo of Dr. Jegar Pitchforth

Dr. Jegar Pitchforth has led innovative technological transformations to create real-world change for over a decade. His early work explored how to ensure models tell the truth and set guardrails for their predictions, and he used this work to develop and implement novel efficient algorithms for Next Generation Sequencing analysis in a HIV research company.

He originated a new track in Real Estate data science for Booking.com, first creating and implementing technology to help the company manage their hundreds of office locations globally, then providing critical technological infrastructure and support systems during the COVID shutdown. As CTO of Scientific Microservices, he has continued to create novel technologies to transform how organisations think about everything from livestock management to koala protection. His thought leadership is particularly sought after in the themed entertainment and attractions industry, where he regularly presents cutting-edge insights and tools for operators via his Theme Park Analytics blog and related projects.

Our work is highly influential. Our scientists are cited in policy documents of the Inter-American Development Bank, UK Parliament, the United Nations, the OECD, the UK NHS, and other government and non-government organisations in the US, UK, Korea, and Norway. Our research is reported in BBC News, New Scientist, Psychology Today, the Huffington Post, Washington Examiner, and the Conversation among other outlets. We have provided direct federal government briefings in urgent situations including the COVID-19 pandemic and research supporting large-scale projects including the Brisbane Olympics.
